Do you think we will ever get back to the times where people respected each other, also the trend for always looking at their phones instead of having a proper conversation. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK!

I don't know but it would sure be nice. This disrespect shown any more is horrible. Tolerance and a few manners would go a long way.

Hi there makembaba, I hope you had a great weekend away. To be honest sometimes I think the elderly have worse manners than many of the young ones i really do. I also feel a lot of how the kids disrespect others is what they have seen and learn't from their parents. We live in a different age I guess where anything goes and half the time that means manners and respect go right out of the window so sad to see :-[

I feel lucky to live in an area where people are fairly nice and respectful and mind their own business. The young people I know are respectful. Oh yes I have run into a few bad apples but I don't go out much.

Good morning @yassy, I have to say I was quite strict on good behaviour when out with my kids. I can honestly say my son at 43 is still polite to this day. Unfortunately it never rubbed off on my daughter. The saying you can take a horse to the well. It never fails to surprise me how you can have two kids bring them up the same way and both turn out totally different. Some may call it individuality. I just think its been bad mannered, disrespectful and rebellious.
